Digital License Verification & OTA Update Engine: Ed25519 Cryptography and Zero-Downtime Releases

1. Why Naive Pingback License Checkers Fail in Under 30 Seconds

Plain-text pingback checks can be trivially spoofed via local hosts file redirections or reverse proxy intercepts. Stilgen enforces cryptographic verification via public-key cryptography.

2. Asymmetric Ed25519 Signature Verification

Because license payloads are signed by Stilgen's root private key, tampering with expiration dates or hardware bounds invalidates the mathematical signature immediately.

3. Hardware Fingerprinting and Offline Grace Periods

Hardware hashing couples licenses to authorized node infrastructure, while a 7-day offline grace period protects customers from temporary WAN outages.
